I’ve had the product for a couple of weeks now, so I thought I’d share my experience. I can’t comment on the installation since it was handled by Rhinosworkshop.

Unfortunately, the setup process wasn’t entirely smooth. I had trouble pairing it with my Garmin 540. However, this may be an issue with the Garmin, not the power meter itself. On one ride, it paired but didn’t display any power data.

Some users claim this product is like a “random number generator,” but I believe all power meters have their bugs. After calibrating, it seems to be working well. The numbers are consistent, and there hasn’t been anything erratic.

A minor gripe is that the power cord should be longer—around 1.5 to 2 meters would be ideal. However, I can still charge it without much trouble.

The main issue that stops this from being a 5-star product for me is the app, which needs significant improvement. Like with any new gear, I wanted to check that the firmware was up to date. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t indicate whether your firmware is current or not. I went ahead with the update anyway, but there’s no progress bar to show the update status (e.g., 0% to 100%). Worse still, it doesn’t notify you when the update is complete, so if you close the app too early, the device enters DFU mode, which is a hassle to fix.

Now that everything seems to be up and running smoothly, I’m hopeful there will be no further issues—though only time will tell. And yes, I would buy another one.
