Eliminate the blind spot and protect you all the way.
COMPREHENSIVE DETECTION ENSURE SAFE RIDE
The radar of L508 uses millimeter-wave pulse signals to provide comprehensive and stable detection of high-speed motor vehicles.
Support 220° wide viewing angle with visibility of up to 1.2km and effective warning of rear vehicles to ensure safe riding.
7 LIGHT MODES & EASY COMBINATION
After updating the new firmware, L508 adds 2 new light modes–quickly flash mode, and rotation mode. Now, L508 supports a total of 7 different light modes: flashing, pulse, peloton, quickly flash, rotation and single radar mode.
Riders can set different light modes in different scenes according to their needs, and also can quickly switch light modes with a simple click.

CUSTOM FLASHING & PULSE INTERVAL
After connecting to Magene Utility APP, you can customize the brightness of each light mode, as well as the interval period of flash mode and pulse mode.
You can also turn off some unwanted light mode, so it will be deactivated at tail light.
SMART BRAKE LIGHT
The tail light is equipped with a built-in high-precision acceleration sensor, to quickly detect and enter 3 seconds highlight mode even with slight braking, while ignoring shaking and small bumps to prevent false starts.
*The brake light can be turned off.
WARNING APPROACHING VEHICLES
If there’s rear vehicle approaching, the warning light will flash for 5 times. When vehicles approach successively, the warning light remains flashing. It warns the rear vehicle keeping a safe distance from you and protects you from safety risks.
*You can turn off warning light to stop it flashing when vehicles approach successively. But it still flashes when it detects rear vehicle approaching for the first time out of safety concern.
PERFECT COMPATIBILITY
Magene Utility APP supports radar display. After connecting your tail light with software, you can view approaching vehicles at a glance.
The tail light can be connected to bike computers, watches, or other display devices that can support the standard radar protocol, such as Magene C406 Pro smart bike computer, partial Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton bike computers and partial Garmin fitness watches, etc.

Joe Whittingham –
I didn’t know I needed a bike radar until I tried this. Super helpful when riding, not always constantly having to look back. Very nice to have the peace of mind, and great that it will flash at cars as they get closer. Built in brake light means guys behind me on the descent can see when I start braking and the ability to control the light with my Garmin head unit is a plus. USB-C means I can finally throw away my USB mini cables. Great to see some competition against Garmin VIRB. Would recommend to anyone who rides in the dark.

This radar light is really nice to have for road riding. So far there haven’t been any false positives and only once was there a false negative, it’s been very accurate and it works great with my bike computer (Hammerhead Karoo 2). I wasn’t sure how much I would like this product but it has really exceeded my expectations in terms of usefulness. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable on the road, both warning of an approaching car and acting as a check on my vision when I look over my shoulder.
If there was one thing that could be improved easily, it would be the cell phone functionality (Magene I hope you are reading this). I use the radar both for bike commuting and for road riding, and I haven’t been using my head unit on my commute bike. The radar doesn’t seem to work with any third party cell phone apps, and at least on my phone the radar can take many attempts to successfully pair within the Magene app. Furthermore, I like to listen to music while riding but the audio alerts on the Magene completely stop, rather than just pause, the playback, in contrast to other cell phone functions like calls or text messages which just lead to a temporary pause. It’s possible there is some cell phone setting that would fix these issues but I think it’s more likely that Magene could do a better job with the app.
So I enthusiastically recommend this device for road riders, with the one exception that if you use a cell phone exclusively you should get the garmin or bryton instead.
