Description
Ⅱ-GEN HOLLOW CRANKSET TECHNOLOGY
QED crank is made of ultralight 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, which adopts II-Gen top triple hollow design to strengthen the structure. The crank is integrally molded by applying precise CNC and deep-hole drilling techniques. The vertical stiffness of QED crank is 12% stronger.
INTEGRATED, BOLT-FREE, GEOMETRIC CHAINRING
The bolt-free and geometric structure makes QED chainring lighter and have better lateral stiffness. It achieves better transmission efficiency in extreme cases where maximum or minimum cassette is applied. The chainring provides the exquisite balance of weight, stiffness and durability performance.
ACCURATE AND SMOOTH SPEED CONTROL
QED chainring with different teeth ratio is equipped with different number of functional areas. It also adopts splicing structure of double center and straight groove under optimized design of mechanical transition zone.
Thus, the speed control efficiency has been improved by 14%, and it is perfectly compatible with 10-11 speed chains. ( DOES NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SHIMANO 12 SPEED)

QED spindle is made of 7050 aircraft-grade aluminum. The larger diameter design of DUB has lighter weight, better stiffness and better waterproof performance than the common 24mm steel spindle.

QED crankset P505 spider-based power meter breaks the chainring limitation, and can adapt to both 110BCD 4-arm and 5-arm chainring.
QED crankset P325 dual-sided crank power meter features an imbedded strain gauge bonding method. It is more stable and accurate in data collection, and more compatible in frame adaptation.

I really like this crankset. It replaces an FSA SL-K that broke and, despite being a little heavier than the FSA, is as stiff and shifts as well or possibly better. The power data seems accurate. The build quality is very good and I really like the appearance of it on my bike. The pedalling action is really smooth and comfortable, even cross chained, and the chain rings run perfectly straight. Installation was a breeze with the Cybrei BSA DUB bottom bracket and power meter activation and integration with my Wahoo Roam was easy. I can’t accurately comment on the 200 hour battery life, but after only a couple of hours of riding, it has already dropped a bar despite having been completely charged – I may come back to this at a later date.
I’m riding a 2009 Cervélo R3 with 10 speed Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 mechanical groupset, a waxed Ultegra 6701 chain and Look Keo Carbon pedals.

I’d just like to add to my review on 8 August. After two months, I still love this crankset and powermeter and the battery lasts ages – I still haven’t had to charge it.

Ich bin sehr froh mich für die Magene QED P 325 entschieden zu haben. Zusammen mit einen neuen Innenlager von Kaktus gelang die Montage schnell und ohne Probleme. Einzig ein Drehmomentschlüssel für den beiliegenden 44mm 16 Zähnen Ring fehlte mir. Ein Hinweis von Magene wäre gut. Die Inbetriebnahme mit der App ging absolut problemlos. Mein Garmin Edge 530 hat den Leistungsmesser sofort gefunden. Der Umwerfer schaltet eher besser als die Shimano Ultegra Kurbel auf meinem anderen Rennrad.
Ich habe die Kurbel nun 3600 km gefahren und habe keinen Kretikpunkt. Der Lestungsmesser ist montiert in einem Carbonrahmen von tantan, Schaltung und Bremsen von Sensah.
